Baldwin Consulting, LLC helps clients solve problems in the areas of strategic positioning and government relations.
Gwenn Baldwin draws on more than 30 years’ experience in the private, non-profit and public sectors in Washington, D.C., Los Angeles and throughout Oregon. She helped position U.S Senator Ron Wyden during the 1980’s when he was in the U.S. House of Representatives. Back in Oregon, Gwenn directed communications for Governor Barbara Roberts and then went to the private sector representing the metals industry and other clients in the State Legislative Assembly. Gwenn also did strategic positioning for a variety of civil engineering firms/developers, and strategic communications/facilitation for several public sector entities.
In 1999, Gwenn left the private sector and Oregon to run the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center, a $32 million social and medical services organization with 250 staff, 250,000 client-visits annually and seven sites in Los Angeles. At the Center, she helped increase major donations by 50% and went toe-to-toe with Bill O’Reilly on The O’Reilly Factor, one of the most interesting among her frequent local and national media interviews. She returned to Oregon in 2002 to bring to bear problem-solving talents and wide experiences in her own business, forming Baldwin Consulting LLC in 2003.
